Provider rankings usually rest on a handful of famous titles. We ran the comparison across

our entire catalog instead: 566 demo games, grouped by studio, limited to the eleven

providers where we hold at least eight titles. Figures are the studios' published RTP

values as recorded in our database on 18 September 2026.

Read the sample size before the ranking

The top three averages come from nine, sixteen and ten games respectively. The bottom two

come from eighty-two and sixty. That asymmetry matters more than the ordering.

A studio represented by nine titles in our catalog is represented by the titles that made

it into our catalog — which skews towards their table games and their modern releases. A

studio with sixty or eighty entries is being judged on its back catalog, including the

older cabinet conversions that were never built for high published returns.

So the honest reading of this table is not "RealTime Gaming pays more than Pragmatic Play".

It is: among the games we hold, these are the distributions, and the small-sample studios

have not been tested across a broad portfolio.

The findings that do hold up

WMS Gaming is genuinely lower. At 93.89% across sixty titles, this is not a sampling

artefact. These are largely land-based cabinet conversions, and the return figures reflect

a different era and a different regulatory context. The lowest RTP in our entire catalog —

92.04% — comes from this group.

Novomatic sits below the market. 95.14% across eighty-two games, with a floor of 94%.

Same story: a large portfolio of classic titles carried over from physical machines.

Pragmatic Play is remarkably consistent. 157 games, average 96.53%, and a floor of

exactly 96.00%. That floor is not an accident — it is a house standard. Play'n GO's

portfolio is similar in size (98 titles) with a lower floor of 93.52%, so the spread is

wider even though the averages are close.

Endorphina, ELK and Betsoft are tight bands. Each sits around 96.2%, with maximum

spreads under one percentage point. If you want predictability rather than upside, these

portfolios deliver it.

Averages hide the thing you actually choose

You never play a studio average — you play one game. Pragmatic Play's range runs from

96.00% to 98.80%, nearly three points wide. Picking the right Pragmatic title matters more

than picking Pragmatic over Play'n GO.

That is why we publish the per-game position rather than only the studio number: every game

page on this site shows where that title ranks among all 566, and whether it sits above or

below its own studio's average.

Method

All games in the comparison are active demo titles in our catalog with a published RTP.

Averages are unweighted means of published values. RTP is the studio's theoretical long-run

figure, not a measurement, and some studios ship multiple RTP configurations of the same

game — we record the one published for the build available here.
